ARTS Names New Board Chairman

Chris Hanna, director of development and marketing at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, has been named chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Reformed Theological Seminaries (ARTS).

Greenville Seminary is a charter organizing member of ARTS, an accrediting association for member institutions. GPTS also maintains a fraternal relationship with PRTS and its leadership, including President Dr. Joel Beeke, who will speak at this month's GPTS Spring Theology Conference.

The Association of Reformed Theological Seminaries exists to bring glory to God, to contribute to the building-up of His Body and the progress of His Kingdom, and to preserve and advance the Reformed tradition by providing a context where member institutions can hold one another accountable for fulfilling their individual stated purposes. This mission is accomplished through accreditation of member institutions and the provision of opportunities and services for mutual edification and encouragement among those schools. Hanna previously served as vice chairman of ARTS.

In his capacity as PRTS development director, he works with churches, donors, and friends of the seminary to promote and support its vision and mission. He also manages the Grand Rapids, Mich., seminary's annual conference and a number of marketing pieces.
