Waddy Anderson Memorial

Greenville Seminary acknowledges the passing into glory of long-time supporter Waddy McFall Anderson, Jr. of Greenville, S.C. on June 15, 2012. He was 87.

Mr. Anderson was born on the Fourth of July 1924 and served as a Navy aviator during World War II. His career was with the Coca Cola Bottling Company of Greenville, a family business from which he retired as president in 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Allene Peterson Anderson; five children, Waddy M. III (June); Walter G; Charles E., Lucretia (Mrs. Arthur Tackman) and John F. (Judy); ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and his sister, Mrs. James T. Pearce (Kit). 

Memorial services were conducted June 17 at Greenville's Second Presbytrerian Church, of which he was a faithful member.
